Welcome to FTSEday. We trade the FTSE 100 index. We offer training in trading psychology, trading structure (business plans, record-keeping) and high-probability strategies which will help you become a profitable, consistent and disciplined day-trader. We successfully trade every strategy we teach on a daily basis and our team is a mixture of professional and semi-professional traders. Our aim is to help traders of varying experience and ability to become independent and consistently profitable.
How are we different to everyone else?
We start by telling you the reality. The reality the journey to consistent profitability (the goal of every trader) is hard. It can be one of the hardest and most frustrating things you ever attempt to undertake.
Have ever read a trading website which informs you there is still a chance you will fail, regardless of what they offer? The reality is there is still a chance you will fail at trading even with all the help and effort we, or anyone else, are able and willing to offer. That is what we are telling you from the beginning. It is important for us to be honest as that is how we run our business. The probability of your success lies with you and your willing, determination and commitment to master yourself. We provide you with all the best tools, structure and environment to be a success, but you have to want it and want it for the right reasons. The demand is great for providing people what they want to hear rather than what we need to hear. We are not in that game. We pride ourselves on being direct, honest and teaching what is rarely written and spoken about.
Learning to trade is a marathon and not a sprint. You will not get rich quickly. People who try to do so will inevitably fail. We cannot provide you with a magic trading-system, as no such system exists. Mastering yourself, your emotions and having the mental state, along with the technical skills to trade is what you need to do. Everyone has their own battle and none two are alike. You will make the same mistakes as every trader has. You will go through the same emotional pain as everyone before you and everyone after in order to think and act like a trader.
The reward is that if you can come out the other side, there is no limit to what you can achieve. Once you have the skill and state of mind, then you have it for life.
What we offer you is access to people who have been through the journey of learning to trade and who trade for a living, and people who are going through every stage of that journey. Equally as important, the team here know how to teach other people how to trade. The best way to learn to trade is to learn from someone who is successfully trading.
Who are our members?
We have members who have never traded before who are a blank canvas; we have members who are professional traders but need specific help. We have members who are everything in-between. Most of our members are recommendations from existing members, which is why we do any marketing nor ‘go after’ members.
Why do we do it?
If you are approaching our website with a sceptical, critical mind, then we fully understand. We would ourselves. This industry, especially the training side of it, is full of ‘professionals’ who are more than willing to take your hard-earned. This is often done by cynically taking advantage of the vulnerabilities of beginner (and more experienced) traders. We have been there, and have been sucked-in by people who can talk the walk, but not walk the walk. Most people do not come out the other side. We did. Part of our motivation to teach is to prevent others falling into these traps. The other is we are genuinely motivated by helping others. James Freeman Clark wrote, “Seek to do good, and you will find happiness will run after you.” This perfectly sums up our philosophy. Naturally, we run a business and make money, but this is merely a by-product of our desire to help you become a successful trader. We enjoy the social aspect and running a website which brings traders from all different background together to create a positive, supportive trading community. We do this because we are passionate about trading and teaching, and we want to change your life and help you obtain financial freedom.
