Markets Have A Habit Of Teasing Us Traders

Markets have a habit of teasing us traders and some especially new ones often think its out of to get them and take it personal, which of course that’s not what we happens its just random and if you see it for that then you can learn to ride the ups and downs and today was just one of those days were you have to look at the market and just smile and in a way be happy that you can resist it getting to you.

Regular readers will know that quite often Mondays can be quiet and after 17 hours off travel with little sleep I was in no fit state to trade so I never even opened the charts and guess what, yes this was one of the best examples of an easy open and retrace you could ever see, as the market opened strong and ran nearly all the way up to “Magic” 6000 level simply to turn around with a classic reversal pattern and then all the way back down to were it came from and that would have been an excellent days work done and if you held and took both could have been done for the week.

After that move the rest of the day was not really worth looking at as the people in the know would have taken there profits and gone and done something better with there time.
